Each morning, she’d walk along the beach with her woven basket and seashell charm, gathering treasures the tide had left behind. Her windowsill bloomed with sea grasses, and a shiny mussel shell boat waited out front—just in case the sea called her name again. Locals say the tiny crab above her door brought good luck, and perhaps a touch of sea magic, too.
